
Terms and Conditions
Oath + Iron Limited T&Cs - April 2025
This Agreement is between you and OATH + IRON LTD (the “Company”) and forms the basis of your agreement with OATH + IRON LTD.

Your attention is particularly drawn to the cancellation and limitation of liability terms at Clauses 2 and 3.
​
1. Commencement Date and Term
The terms of this Agreement will commence on the date you complete your membership online.
​
Under this Agreement you have the right to use the gym facilities of the Company and personal training from the Company (the “Services”).
​
The Agreement will continue for the initial term stated when signing up from the Commencement Date (the “Initial Term”) and thereafter will continue in line with the contract selected – either monthly rolling or a 12 month term.
2. Cancellation
​
You may terminate this Agreement after the expiry of the Initial Term by giving 30 days notice from your expected payment date by written notice to the OATH + IRON official email address below:

We may terminate this Agreement with you by providing 30 days notice from the date of your expected payment date, or if you threaten, abuse or harass any of our staff or other Members we may terminate this Agreement immediately. We will also terminate this agreement if you break any of the rules stated.

3. Limitation of Liability
​​
Nothing in this Agreement shall limit or exclude our liability:
​

for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors;

for fraud or fraudulent representation;
-
for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
​​
We shall not be liable for any loss or damage that results from you breaching this contract, in particular your obligations under our Use of Facilities Statement, a copy of which is attached at Schedule 1 of this Agreement.
​
We shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time this Agreement was made, both we and you knew it might happen.
​
You must ensure all your items are properly secured when using the Services. We will not be responsible for any damage, loss or theft of any property brought on our premises subject to Clause 3.1 above.
​
We will not be liable for any failure to provide the Services to you in the event of event or act beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation industrial actions by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack, threat of terrorist attack, war, threat of war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or any natural disaster.
4. Fees
You are required to pay the monthly fee set in your membership plan.
5. Use of Services

You acknowledge that at times some parts of our facilities may be unavailable due to refurbishments or repair. You agree that such disruption shall not constitute a material breach of this Agreement.

6. Data Protection
We may collect and we require that you consent for us to process the following personal information about you:

Information that you give us including your name, date of birth, email address and address.

Information about your health that we require as part of your membership.
​​
We confirm that the personal information which you provide us will only be used by us to better provide the Services to you and confirm that the information will not be shared with any third party without your prior consent.
​
Where videos are being recorded in our facilities which may be used in marketing by us on Social Media please tick the box below to indicate your preference.
​
Should you not wish to be included in the video or photos in the future please let OATH + IRON LTD know by email to the stated email address above or in writing to the registered office address.
​
You agree that we will store this information about you and we may be required to transfer it or have it stored in a location outside the European Economic Area. We will ensure that all information we have about you is stored securely.
We will only store your personal data during the term of your membership after which time we will carry out a process to delete such data.
​
You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data and this should be submitted to OATH + IRON LTD in writing to the registered office address.
​
You have the right to lodge a complaint to the ICO if you consider there is a problem with the way we handle your data.
​
We will handle your data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
7. General
​
No variation of this Agreement will be valid unless recorded in writing and signed by or on behalf of each of the parties to this Agreement.
​
If any provision of this Agreement (or part of any provision) is found by any court or other authority of competent jurisdiction or illegal, the other provisions will remain unaffected and in force.
Nothing in this Agreement will be construed as constituting or evidencing any partnership, contract of employment or joint venture of any kind between either of the parties or as authorising either party to act as agent for the other. Neither party will have authority to make representations for, act in the name or on behalf of or otherwise to bind the other party in any way.
This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Any person who is not a party to this Agreement shall not have any rights to enforce its terms.
8. Declaration

By clicking accept during the membership sign up process under "Read terms and Conditions" you agree to all of the terms and conditions outlined above, including the Additional Membership Terms & Conditions section below.

Additional Membership Terms & Conditions
​
OATH + IRON LIMTED (known as OATH + IRON) maintains and enforces membership rules to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable atmosphere in which to work out.
​
OATH + IRON may amend these rules from time to time and will publicise any changes by way of an email to our members.
​
You should not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition which might interfere with you exercising safely, before you use our equipment and facilities, you should get advice from a relevant medical professional and follow that advice.
​
You should ask a Colleague if there is any equipment which you are unsure how to use.
You should make yourself aware of any rules and instructions, including warning notices.
​
Exercise carries its own risks. You should not carry out any activities which you have been told are not suitable for you.
​
You agree you will take time to familiarise yourself with the instructions displayed in OATH + IRON and on the equipment regarding the safe use of OATH + IRON equipment.
If you decide that you require any assistance in the use of the equipment you will ensure that you make an appointment with a qualified member of our team who will assist you to use OATH + IRON equipment safely and effectively.

You have considered your own personal fitness requirements and will exercise within your own abilities, taking into consideration any disabilities which you may have.
​
You accept that OATH + IRON is not staffed during all OATH + IRON opening hours and that it is your personal responsibility to stop exercising if you feel ill or require assistance.
You will decide if you have a medical condition that requires advice from your own medical advisor before embarking on an exercise programme at OATH + IRON.
​
We operate a ZERO TOLERENCE Policy. We welcome members who respect OATH + IRON, respect fellow members, and respect our staff. If there is any aggression, harassment, intimidation, or verbal abuse towards staff or members, then we reserve the right to terminate your Membership immediately.
​
You must be 16 years or older to join or visit OATH + IRON. All members under 18 must complete an induction, which can be delivered either face-to-face or online.
​
Members under 18 must provide a parental guardian as their emergency contact.
​
For private classes that include participants under 18, OATH + IRON does not assume any responsibility for these participants. It is the sole responsibility of the class organiser or instructor to obtain parental permission.
​
You will be issued with your free access (Fob, QR Code or another) pass, which our staff will check you have set up correctly.
​
12 Month Membership Terms & Conditions
12 Month Rolling Membership offers a our lowest membership rate, and requires a fixed 12m contract. Payments are taken in monthly installments. Your membership will automatically renew for another 12 months on the date of expirey, unless you opt out when you enter the initial contract. This must confirm you wish to opt out via email info@oathandiron.com. Should you wish to stop your automatic renewal, you must give a strict 30 days' notice to cancel any memberships. If you request a cancellation after the 10th of the month, your last payment will be for the following month and you can use OATH + IRON up until the end of this month. We do not accept any cancellation requests verbally. All cancellation requests are to be submitted via our email info@oathandiron.com. The cancellation of your direct debit or bank card will not cancel your membership and your payments will continue until you have followed the correct cancellation procedure as stated above. All cancellation requests will receive an email confirmation within 7 days. It is your responsibility to check you have received the confirmation and to check your bank for any future payments.

1 Month Rolling Membership Terms & Conditions
​
1 Month Rolling Membership offers a flexible membership policy, and we has NO membership contract. However, you must give a strict 30 days' notice to cancel any memberships. If you request a cancellation after the 10th of the month, your last payment will be for the following month and you can use OATH + IRON up until the end of this month. We do not accept any cancellation requests verbally. All cancellation requests are to be submitted via our email info@oathandiron.com. The cancellation of your direct debit or bank card will not cancel your membership and your payments will continue until you have followed the correct cancellation procedure as stated above. All cancellation requests will receive an email confirmation within 7 days. It is your responsibility to check you have received the confirmation and to check your bank for any future payments.
Pausing Memberships
We allow you to pause your membership but require at least 14 days' notice. You can pause your membership for up to 3 months at any one time. Your membership will unpause and will restart automatically at the end of the requested period. You will be charged a £5 fee each month that your account is on pause to account for the admin work and to maintain your membership at the current membership rate. If you request your pause within 5 days of your next payment, it will not be possible for us to stop your direct debit and the pause of your membership will commence on the next payment month. We do not accept any pause requests verbally or via email. All pause requests are to be submitted via the pause form on our website https://soham.fitness. The cancellation of your direct debit or bank card will not pause your membership and your payments will continue until you have followed the correct pause procedure as stated above. All pause requests will receive an email confirmation within 7 days. It is your responsibility to check you have received the confirmation and to check your bank for any future payments.
General Membership Terms & Conditions
You will not be permitted to use OATH + IRON whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquillisers, or make use of any other medical substance which may affect your ability to exercise safely at OATH + IRON.

You agree to clean and sanitise all equipment immediately after use with the cleaning products provided.
​
You agree not to conduct any Personal Training business with other Members or Guests unless permitted by OATH + IRON.
​
You agree you are using the changing rooms at your own risk during the unmanned hours.
You agree not to use, block, or interfere with fire, emergency or disabled access doors or alarms (except in a genuine emergency).
​
You will not drop or throw weights on the OATH + IRON floor. You will replace all equipment where it should be stored, regardless of whether it was in the correct location when you used it.
We have the right to terminate your membership if you are not abiding by these rules.
​
You agree to only use OATH + IRON equipment in the manner in which the manufacturer intended. If you are unsure of the correct use, you will ask a member of the OATH + IRON Team.
​
You agree not to take photographs or videos at OATH + IRON or post remarks on any social media or other internet sites without the express permission of any staff or members who appear in the video or photo.
​
You agree to keep the gym floor tidy and to not obstruct equipment or create an unsafe condition with personal gym bags. Furthermore, you agree that you will not leave any belongings overnight in the facility.
​
Your access control will be blocked if any payment remains outstanding for more than 14 days. If payment is missed for more than 2 months in any 12-month period, we reserve the right to terminate your membership or apply a £5 administration charge to cover the time chasing missed payments.
You agree to wear suitable clothing and footwear when exercising. For clarity, denim jeans, flip-flops, sliders, crocs, work boots, or a bare torso are examples of what is NOT permitted. Any member not wearing suitable attire may be asked to leave OATH + IRON at the discretion of the local management team.
You agree to enter and exit OATH + IRON quietly so as not to disturb any of our neighbours.

You agree to abide by the parking regulations and designated spaces for the use of OATH + IRON.
​
You agree to be monitored by CCTV for the purposes of safety and security of OATH + IRON and its members.
​
These rules are in place to preserve the welcoming and supportive environment of OATH + IRON.

Day Pass Terms & Conditions
OATH + IRON LIMITED (known as OATH + IRON) maintains and enforces membership rules to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable atmosphere in which to work out.

OATH + IRON may amend these rules from time to time and will publicise any changes by way of an email to our members.
Day Pass Terms and Conditions:

Pass Validity and Usage:
​
The Day Pass entitles you to use the gym facilities up until 23:59. It is valid only on the date of purchase.
​
Passes do not include access to any group classes. Should you wish to join any classes, these are chargeable at the 'pay as you go' rate and must be paid for prior to the start of the class.
Eligibility:
​
Day Passes are available only to individuals aged 16 years and over.
Previous members are eligible for Day Passes, provided they have no outstanding arrears with OATH + IRON.
Conditions and Restrictions:
​
The pass holds no cash value and is non-transferable.
Management reserves the right to refuse access to the facilities at any time, for any reason.
You should not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition that might interfere with your ability to exercise safely, you should seek advice from a relevant medical professional before using our equipment and facilities.
You agree to take time to familiarise yourself with the instructions displayed in OATH + IRON and on the equipment regarding its safe use. If you require assistance, please make an appointment with a qualified member of our team.
Conduct and Facility Use:

Liability and Responsibility:

You understand that OATH + IRON may not be staffed during all opening hours and that it is your responsibility to stop exercising if you feel ill or require assistance.
You will decide if you have a medical condition that requires advice from your own medical advisor before starting an exercise programme at OATH + IRON.
OATH + IRON is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur while using the facilities, especially during unmanned hours.
Miscellaneous:
Passes may be revoked without refund if any of the above conditions are violated.
By using a Day Pass, you confirm that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions.
